Lena Anderson
A two-week volunteer trip to Brazil was supposed to be a detour. Instead, it changed everything. Lena fell in love with what travel could be: immersive, a little disorienting, and deeply human. She went back two years later, and she’s been going back ever since, to new places and to that feeling.
That conviction became Sweet Bean Travels.
Today, Lena designs custom luxury journeys for busy professionals who want the world curated, not packaged.
In 2020, she made her own leap, trading Philadelphia for Mexico. For the past four years, she’s called San Miguel de Allende home. Living abroad has sharpened her sense of what it means to arrive somewhere unfamiliar and feel genuinely welcomed, and she designs that feeling into every trip.
When she’s not deep in an itinerary, you’ll find her wandering San Miguel’s cobblestone streets or hunting down the next great local restaurant.
